‘Planifesting’, When You Unlock The Divine Plan That Your Soul Has Scripted For You

The problem with manifesting…

Manifesting can be such a hit or miss, that it’s like throwing spaghetti at the wall, hoping something will stick. You decide what you want, and then you go after it energetically while taking steps in your physical reality to manifest your desire. If you are like most people, this method has given you mixed results. Some things have been relatively easy to manifest, while other deeply desired manifestations have continued to stay out of reach.

Two factors fuel this:

• The first is that almost all your manifestations are ego-driven, which is not bad but isn’t necessarily in alignment with your Soul processes. If your ego desire conflicts with the process your Soul is guiding you through, it’s not going to happen. Or at least not in the way that you wanted it to.
• What is true on a macro level of the ego and the soul is also true on a micro level of the conscious and the subconscious. If the subconscious believes that your conscious desire is not safe for you to have (based on past trauma) or it believes again based on past experiences that left their scars, that you’re not worthy of or deserve to have your conscious desire – it ain’t gonna happen either. You can have these desires manifest, but only after you have worked through your subconscious blocks that are canceling out your conscious desires.

When the stars aren’t aligning for you

This can often make manifesting instead of soul-aligned a battle of subconsciously trying to force your will onto reality and guess who is going to win?

Yeah, it’s not you.

No matter how much you visualize, affirm, script, or anchor in the energy you want to live when there’s a conflict on one of these two levels your reality is not going to budge because it either conflicts with what the Soul wants for you in this moment (not forever) or you are conflicted within yourself around having your desire manifest.

A reason why something can conflict with your Soul process is because it’s not part of your Divine Plan and you are being protected from an experience you don’t need to have or because having your desire will, for example, distract you from the Soul process you are in.

Think of a new love relationship that might consume you or for example, money that you could use to run away from difficult emotions by going out shopping, out-of-town trips, restaurants, massages, and so on. Although there is nothing wrong with any of these things they can be temporarily put on hold during the various Soul initiations the Soul guides you through, to keep you focused on you. These Soul initiations often force us into hermit mode so that we can focus on our spiritual growth rather than try to escape ourselves by any means possible.

Man’s rejection is God’s protection

It’s not that your Soul doesn’t want you to have the things you want, period. It’s that they do not support your current process because if they did you would have them. You always get exactly what you need in every moment to support you through the Soul process you are currently in.

When I met my Twin Soul in 2014, there was nothing that I wanted more than to be with him, but that did not happen. That felt devastating back then, but I quickly realized that had I had my fairytale romance come true, I would have never become the woman I am today.

If I had gotten the relationship of my dreams at that time, I would have stayed stuck in a smaller version of myself. Not only that my and his corresponding relationship wounding i.e. mine the rigid inner feminine and his the collapsed inner masculine would have had us repeat the same mistakes we made in our previous relationships that didn’t work before either.

It’s not that my Soul didn’t want me to have love or a love relationship, it’s that after being married half my life already I was being guided to heal the subconscious patterns within myself that made both my marriages the disasters that they were. I wanted to experience true love, which meant that I had to become someone who could give and probably even more importantly receive true love.

Being worthy of love was something that I carried deep wounding around because of childhood trauma I had so deeply repressed I had ‘forgotten’ it altogether. I needed the time alone to work through my unresolved past, which had tainted every romantic relationship I have had.

Introducing ‘Planifesting’ (Soul aligned manifesting)

In her book, The Game of Life Florence Scovel Shinn writes: ‘There is for each man, perfect self-expression. There is a place which he is to fill and no one else can fill, something which he is to do, which no one else can do; it is his destiny! …. The perfect plan includes health, wealth, love, and perfect self-expression. This is the square of life, which brings perfect happiness. When one has made this demand, he may find great changes taking place in his life, for nearly every man has wandered far from the Divine Design.‘

I love Florence Scovel Shinn’s work and she introduced me to the idea of the Divine Design or Divine Plan scripted by our Soul over twenty years ago. Rather than merely wanting to manifest your ego desires, the idea is to manifest that which is truly meant for you because that is what is perfect for you.

It may not be objectively perfect, but it is the exact perfect fit for you.

And because it’s perfect for you, it’s what will give you the most joy, satisfaction, and happiness.

‘Planifesting’ is a combination of the words ‘plan’ and ‘manifesting’ and it is used to signify manifesting our Divine Plan and all that is ours by Divine Right.

‘Planifesting’ doesn’t require visualizing, affirmations (although Florence was a big believer in affirmations which she called statements of truth), scripting, rituals, or any other version of throwing spaghetti at the wall hoping something will stick.

Instead, it requires:

• The desire to live one’s Divine Plan
• The willingness to heal where you have wandered far from your Divine Design* or Divine Blueprint
• Trust the process (including your intuitive leads and Soul) as you are guided to where your Soul wants you to be

*This is the bigger picture of our unresolved trauma; as on a Soul path level our unresolved pain and trauma have created deeply ingrained distortions (through repetition over lifetimes and lifetimes) in our Divine Blueprint and this has brought us far from the Divine Design that is our God-given birthright.

You can use statements of truth in this process to correct fear-based thinking but that is not the same as writing out an affirmation daily or other modern ways of working with affirmations that often don’t work. What makes affirmations, for example, an inferior tool to reprogram the subconscious mind is that it tries to force a new belief system on the subconscious mind rather than address the reason why the subconscious mind is holding onto a more painful or fear-based belief in the first place.

Why is there a deviation from your Divine Design, how was it created and how can it be healed are the correct questions that should be asked.

Every time you peel back a layer of distortion of the Divine Blueprint, you simultaneously unlock deeper Soul alignment to your Divine Plan, because one process fuels the other.

What is keeping us separated from what is meant for us?

I am the poster child of this work as I have worked rigorously on healing these distortions in my own Divine Blueprint with various healers over the years and since recently with the Soul Embodiment Therapists, I have trained in years one and two of the Soul Embodiment Therapy certification program I offer.

I have found that the biggest barrier between us and the things that are meant for us is our ability to give up control and surrender the outcome to our soul.

This may sound deceivingly simple but it’s not because it ties right into our survival, protection, and defense mechanisms that we have developed not only in our childhood but that are deeply rooted in our ancestral and past life or even Soul path wounding.

We designed these mechanisms to keep ourselves safe, which is why many of us especially those who recognize the rigid inner feminine archetype within themselves need to feel in control in order to feel safe. This makes truly surrendering next to impossible because it means letting go of our sense of safety at least that is how we see it through the lens of our wounding.

It’s exactly this mechanism that keeps us cut off from the things that are ours by Divine Right and even the people that are meant to be part of our lives. We cannot reach the level of surrender we need without first healing these subconscious wounds that make us cling to control to feel safe without us necessarily being able to see that this is happening. It is so deeply embedded in our psychological programming that we often don’t even know it’s there.

This is also a third factor that makes manifesting so incredibly difficult for people because they don’t dare to release the outcome because they don’t trust that they will get what they want if they do. This is a sure-fire sign that your ego or life avatar is stuck in survival mode believing that it is the only one looking out for numero uno. If you recognize this belief or a variant of it, it’s because you still carry wounding with the Divine and perhaps with life itself.

The fact that you have a strong connection with Source and/or your Soul doesn’t mean you can’t also carry wounding around this connection as it is a spectrum and you can be on different parts of the spectrum between fear and love or oneness and separation.

You can ask any of my clients and they will tell you that they never would have expected to find what they did in a session with me. This is because our subconscious wounds are held within the subconscious where we are not CONSCIOUSLY aware of them. This may sound like an unnecessary statement and something that is evident, but most people tend to think that if they are consciously not aware of something, it means it’s not there. Otherwise, they would know it, right?

But that is kind of the same as saying that just because we can’t see bacteria or viruses with the naked eye they must not exist….

When change comes knocking at your door

2024 has been the year of healing the root causes of my own defense, protection, and survival mechanisms re-created in my childhood through the deeply repressed traumas I had experienced then and of course, the ancestral, past life, and Soul path roots that underlie my negative childhood experiences – so that I could heal them this time around.

This year I found myself constantly in situations where I had no control, not in a victim sense of things happening to me rather than for me but in a quite literal sense of not being able to ‘fix it’ as this has been one of my own deepest psychological patterns. The months of struggling with a UTI that would not go away was just one of the ways this played out in my life.

As I healed this pattern in myself with the help of other healers, because there is no self-healing at this level of depth, external circumstances forced me to take a leap of faith before I felt ready but also felt like I had no choice but to jump.

Of course, I could have side-stepped and dragged out the process but in the end, we are never asked to do something we are not capable of even if it doesn’t feel that way at first because we are being called to step out of our comfort zone, out into the unknown.

I was so committed to healing this ancient wounding and experiencing life on the other side of it that I took the leap of faith that was being asked of me, even when it didn’t feel like the safest option. In my heart of hearts, I knew it was the decision I had to make. We had already been searching for a new home when all of a sudden our timeline got pushed up to now instead of later.

I had the choice to trust or spiral down the rabbit hole of fear.

How I ‘planifested’ my new home against all odds

I chose to trust and took my leap of faith….

On the December 2nd new moon, I gave my notice to the landlord that we would be leaving by the end of the month. I didn’t have a new place to move into, and to make it even more complicated I had been guided to move back to the Netherlands after living in Spain for the past five years. Not only were we moving, but we were also changing countries and we had less than one month to do it.

As we know nature abhors a vacuum and by letting go of the old, I was creating space for the new to come in. I would have preferred to first find a new home, but then it would not have been a leap of faith. It would have been a sure thing and that was not the Soul process I was in.

I was being asked to make a trust fall into the Universe’s (Soul’s) arms.

I called in the help of my network, which led to a couple of leads but also to clear signs to go look elsewhere than where we were initially looking. For example, every time I tried to find a house through Facebook groups my post would get taken down for no reason, or the people I would respond to offering a rental didn’t even reply. It was clear that we were NOT supposed to go back to Amsterdam where we lived before we left the Netherlands.

A lifetime family friend set us up with a distant cousin who had a one-bedroom garden house with a private bathroom and our own kitchen that the owner for some reason partially used as well and that she still asked a outrageous rent for because it was in Amsterdam. We quickly abandoned this idea as it clearly wouldn’t work between us and the landlady.

After this experience, I decided that I wasn’t going to let fear make me compromise on what I actually wanted, a long-term stay where we could live comfortably instead of on top of each other.

I won’t lie there were two or three nights that I was in a deep panic about our future especially because I had my 85-year-old mother with me. Ending up on the street wasn’t an option.

Following cosmic leads

I then found a reasonably affordable Airbnb that we could stay in for four months, that at least gave us a place to land and take it from there. Then a client put me in contact with a friend who needed a house and pet sitter for three months and although that is not my thing it was another possibility. I then realized that the Airbnb house and the housesitting house were close to the same small city and I took it as a cosmic lead to go search for a house in that specific area.

For the first time in my search, I found a house that was available long-term instead of only for a couple of months. It had one bedroom less than we needed but a loft area that could be used as a third bedroom.

However, because we were of course in the midst of Mercury retrograde I didn’t want to sign a new contract when Mercury was helping us perfect our past. I wanted to wait until Mercury would be moving forward again to seal the deal, which was only one week away.

So, I stalled by asking one of my Dutch Soul Embodiment Therapists who lived relatively nearby to go look for me as I was in a different country. I also asked her to verify that the rental was legit because honestly, it felt too good to be true.

I found the house on the 8th of December, six days after I was nudged to take the leap of faith. But there was still one week of Mercury retrograde left. With the appointment in place to view the house we continued packing and selling everything we were not taking with us.

Not knowing where we were going to end up and what had to go into storage perhaps, we chose to sell as much as possible so that we wouldn’t have to store unnecessary items.

The viewing was planned for the 23rd of December, but because I wanted to secure the house I asked for the contract and to pay the deposit for the house I thought I was going to rent two days after Mercury went direct.

This of course sounds risky because it could have been a scam, but I checked the things that had been said in the conversation with one of the owners and found evidence of it online.

She had told me that she had also worked from home in that house and sure enough on a Google map photo, I saw a plaque of her business in the window of the house. I wasn’t 100% sure that it was legit, but at least 99% percent sure through everything I knew about the owners and the house.

Our cosmic upgrade

The moment I told the owner that I was ready to sign the contract, she told me that the house next to it which also belonged to them was suddenly available the upcoming weekend and that this would be a better fit for our three-generation family, as it had four bedrooms instead of two.

She sent me some pictures of the house that were absolutely gorgeous and that I recognized because I had already seen online that the two houses belonged together and were sold as one house. I found that they were even listed in a lifestyle magazine as hidden gems because their interiors are so unique.

My friend and colleague went to view the house for me, taking pictures and videos so that I knew what I was getting into even though I had already signed the contract and paid the deposit because the viewing was scheduled two days before Christmas and six days before our arrival. I didn’t want to get clenched for time with the Christmas celebrations in between.

The house was only partially furniture and because all of our things were sent by transport nothing would arrive before we arrived which meant that we needed plates, pots, pans, cutlery, bedding, and so on.

The easiest move ever – pure flow

Our new landlords also own a yoga retreat center close by and are used to facilitating guests. We had a quick call about what we needed and they prepped everything for our arrival. We were met with flowers on the table, and some other nice touches as well such as a tea and coffee station with fresh home-baked lemon cake. On all of the pre-made beds, there was a hotel set of shampoo and conditioner waiting for us.

All we needed to do was go into town, get groceries and we were ready to settle in for the night exhausted after our flight and from lugging around the six overweight suitcases. But the Universe had taken care of everything from a ride to the Ibiza airport in exchange for a piece of furniture we would have otherwise had to pay to be removed, to my uncle picking us up at the airport and driving us to our new home and shopping trip. Even our overweight luggage wasn’t billed extra because I had already bought 90kg of luggage weight that we managed to exceed anyway.

Although it was one of the most complex moves we ever made, it was one of the easiest moves ever. I made close to €4.000 in selling small furniture and hardly had anyone haggle on the prices, most people were happy to pay what I asked.

It was absolute flow, which was great after months of feeling like I was stuck in an energetic dead-end street where there seemed to be no way to move forward.

Exactly perfect for us

The house is beautiful but not perfect, it needs a good cleaning and also some new paint here and there. There was a God ugly antique desk that I asked the owners to get rid of. However, it is perfect for us. From the amount of rooms and space to the style, I adore Villeroy & Boch, and this house looks like it stepped right out of a Villeroy & Boch showroom or magazine.

It was love at first sight for me….

It has everything we need from a stove and oven to a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Appliances that you would normally have to buy yourself as a renter in the Netherlands. Not only that, they are high-quality appliances such as a Miele dishwasher and a Boretti stove.

I have always wanted a Boretti stove, but by the time I could afford one (they cost around three-and-a-half thousand euros) I no longer had a house to put it in because we were traveling and later renting in Spain where you rent a home with a kitchen and appliances installed. This is unlike Germany for example, where you often have to buy your own kitchen and then move it with you when you leave (it makes no sense, but that is how they do it).

Results beyond your wildest dreams

The house is the perfect place for us to land and restart our lives in the Netherlands. Although I still don’t know why we were led back here, I trust that it is exactly where we need to be after the huge transformation that I experienced in Ibiza these past three to four years.

This brings me to the final aspect of ‘planifesting’. What makes it so miraculous and a superior form of manifesting is that the results you get with ‘planifesting’ are much better than you would have ever imagined possible or would have created for yourself.

Under the circumstances and considering the short timeframe of twenty-seven days from deciding to move to executing the move, finding a place like this would be like searching for a needle in a haystack. It would also seem unrealistic to have such ‘high demands’ when you above all just need a roof over your head, you know beggars can’t be choosers and such.

Of course, having money helps a lot but money itself doesn’t necessarily buy perfect circumstances, you could still have a shitty landlord, loud neighbors, or other factors that make your living circumstances less than ideal.

‘Planifesting’ is like receiving an upgrade from the Universe that you didn’t know you could even have or that you secretly wanted.

I loved our home in Ibiza but it was also very cramped living there and although the appliances there were better than the much more expensive house that we started in when we moved to Ibiza, they were rubbish compared to the appliances we have now. The whole house is an upgrade not only in size and number of rooms but in style and comfort as well.

So even though this leap in faith was scary AF, it was what allowed us as they say to jump timelines and receive this massive upgrade in the process.

A severe case of no guts no glory.

Something we often find easy when it comes to the small inconsequential stuff, but extremely challenging when it comes to the big stuff that really matters to us. That’s where we want to ‘take matters into our own hands’ instead of surrendering them to the Divine. This is because we don’t trust that when we relinquish control, things will still happen for us the way that we want them to.

This is the very thing that keeps us from unlocking the Divine Plan that our Soul has scripted for us.
