I truly believe that we are never done learning.
People who believe they already know everything are stuck in their ego and have often stopped growing because of their closed attitude to new things, new approaches, and new ways of looking at things. Because this is the Year of the Water Tiger, being closed off is not an option – this is the year of CHANGE. This is the year to switch things up and do things differently, as this is the year where we have the ability to bring resolution to our biggest challenges or struggles.
I have always loved learning. I am an autodidact (self-taught) and have been since I was young. Already before my teens’ books were my go-to to improve my life. I started reading self-help books when I was still in grade school. Over the years I have taught myself many things, but I have also loved learning from others. Online programs have been one of my favorite ways to learn for over a decade. Together with healing and reading books, they have been part of the secret to my success.
Having a larger size business with staff means I am often quite busy. I don’t have a lot of extra time so I always have to be careful not to buy more programs than I can actually do the work in. Sometimes this means that they don’t get done, but often I make time for them no matter what. Not every online program is high quality or well structured, but they tend to be worth the investment anyway. Some of the worst formatted programs have earned me the most ROI (return on investment), because of how I was able to use what was being taught in my own business in my own unique way.
For example, I took a Bach Flower remedy course that taught me how to use Bach Flowers to support my clients before and after their Soul Embodiment® Therapy sessions. Other courses may have brought in more money as an ROI, but this one really allowed me to increase the value of my services and support clients in their healing process over a longer period of time outside of the actual session. This helps my clients get even more out of their one-to-one sessions with me. The Bach Flowers help them work through what came up in the session, they assist the client on a subconscious as well as mental, emotional, and vibrational level in their healing process. I remember the teacher almost forced me to take notes, but I learn through listening and so, to be honest, I have never looked at the notes again and although of course, I wasn’t able to memorize all 38 Bach Flowers I know most of them by heart and I love working with them because they are powerful, yet gentle.
I am currently enrolled in five online programs, which is a bit my max but most of them are self-study without a time limit, and that works well for me because I can weave them into my existing schedule. I am taking a 20-week Spanish course for ex-pats (I live in Spain so uhm necesito hablar Español), I am doing an amazing course on the inner feminine that is chopped up in 21 days, I am doing a year program emotional alchemy, and then the other two I kind of dropped out. One was given over Telegram, which I dislike. For some reason I find any course information given on Telegram so unstructured that I give up — it just doesn’t work for me. The other 8-week course has very lengthy videos and that doesn’t work either. I can do about 30–45 minutes of video max, if you go over an hour you have lost me. I don’t have the time to sit down and watch for so long which is why I consider the money spent on the last two sunk costs. Hey, you win some, you lose some. But overall most investments, I make actually help me make more money. In fact, even one of those badly structured courses had a 1500% return on investment. I spent €1500 and I made over €22.000 from one single concept I had learned in that program, that I created a healing service around using the Soul Embodiment® Therapy method and offered it to my clients.
Many people look at such investments in healing, self-development, and learning as costs but I see them as opportunities to make more money. I have spent a small fortune on investing in my healing, self-development, and learning new skills but that has brought me a multi-six figure return on investment over the years. I started out as a single mother on welfare eleven years ago this December, I got myself and my kids off welfare and then went to crack the code to unlocking 5-figure months and later 6-figure years, I traveled the world with my family for two years and then moved to Ibiza, Spain in 2020 which had been on my vision board since 2017. I have come an incredibly long way and that is mainly due to my thirst for learning and my commitment to healing the separation between the ego and the soul within myself.
I am not only an avid student, I am also a very good teacher with multiple online programs to my own name. I have taught online marketing as an internet business coach, having gotten myself off of welfare through the internet and making 5-figure months shortly after made that many other businesswomen wanted to learn from me. While going through my Twin Flame process, I wrote a program to help others navigate their own journeys which saw over 300+ students, and now as I have further evolved in my own journey I have developed three new ways that people can level up with me.
